Forbes magazine announces its rankings of the Most Influential Women in the Czech Republic every year. In the rankings, AAA AUTO Chief Executive Officer Karolína Topolová placed in the top fifty for the third time, making her the highest-placed woman in the very male automobile industry. Karolína Topolová is not only chief executive officer of the largest used car dealer in Central Europe, a position she has held for five years, but also chairwoman of the administrative board of the Children’s Transport Foundation and the mother of a three-year-old girl.
“Trophies aren’t important to me, but my place in the Forbes rankings pleased me. Every award that a person gets is a mirror of the work they have done and valuable motivation for further work, personal development and new projects,” said Topolová, who is the only woman heading a large automobile trader in Central Europe. Under her management, AAA AUTO has sold over 320,000 cars and the company has served approximately double the number of customers. The number of AAA AUTO car showrooms has risen by twelve, including a return to the Polish and Hungarian markets. The quantity of cars offered in the group has risen to almost fourteen thousand. The number of employees has reached 2,400. In management she places emphasis on a customer-oriented approach. She is chairman of the administrative board of the Children’s Transport Foundation, which financially supports the orphans of traffic accidents. She is married and has a three-year-old daughter.
Thanks to her success, Karolína Topolová won the Lady Pro 2015 award. She is regularly one of the finalists in the Manager of the Year competition, and also won the title Young Managerial Talent 2015. She has also repeatedly finished high in the prestigious TOP 25 Women in Czech Business poll. Under her management, AAA AUTO has moved up in the CZECH TOP 100 rankings from 67th to 48th and won a prize at the European Business Awards 2016/2017, where it was rated the second most valuable company in Europe from the 33 participating countries.
