The goal of this expansion is to increase AAA AUTO’s offer on the Hungarian market to 1,300 cars.
Prague/Budapest, August 31st, 2015 – The AAA AUTO company opened new branches in Hungary in Szegéd, Pécs and Székesfehérvár. By this, the total number of autocentres in Hungary was increased to four. The AAA AUTO group now buys and sells used cars on four markets in 39 locations. The company plans another expansion in Hungary and in the other countries where it operates.
The new branch in Szegéd, which employs 20 personnel, offers up to 250 cars on a 4000 m2 lot. The autocentres in Pécs and Székesfehérvár are not buying up cars yet. The branch in Pécs, located on a 7000 m2 lot, employing twenty and which also offers 250 cars, will open in full at the beginning of October. The date of sales will start in Székesfehérvár has not been established yet. For now this branch will only purchase vehicles.
”The amount of cars sold in Hungary is growing rapidly. ”Last year we started to offer four hundred cars. This year in July it was eight hundred. Last year, we decided to support sales and widen our offer by opening new autocentres. We’re expanding on all of the markets where we work, with the goal of reaching forty branches. The three branches we opened in Hungary have brought us closer to this goal,” said the general director of AAA AUTO, Karolína Topolová. ”Except for the expansion in Hungary, we’re considering new locations in Poland while expanding our current autocentres in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.”
AAA AUTO selected new branches in Hungary after long-term research and analyses of local conditions, especially from the perspective of buying power, the amount of competition, or appropriate geographical placement. “In our branches in Pécs and Székesfehérvár, we decided to begin with a longer period of buying in order to quickly expand our overall offer in Hungary from 800 cars to 1,300,” added Topolová.
Last week in the Czech Republic, AAA AUTO began its seasonal used car sale with discounts of up to 60,000 CZK per car. “We have roughly eight thousand cars in stock. Most have reduced prices. The roughly 3,500 pickup and MPV vehicles whose main selling season is ending offer the largest discounts. The average price is reduced by 20%,” stated Topolová.
